Gwen was preceded in death by her husband Don, eleven year old daughter Joan, and her siblings Edward, Philis, Vivian, Gracie, and infant sister Pearl.

She is survived by her children: Carol Harris and her husband Roy; Ed Sweezey; and Sharon Sweezey; eight grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
