Floyd (Doc) Williams, 76, of Roanoke, Va., beloved husband, father, brother and Paw-paw, departed this life for a heavenly presence on Monday, October 9, 2006 after a lengthy illness. He was born and raised in Foster Falls, son of the late James Jefferson and Roxie Williams and the brother of the late Lottie May Williams. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and worked for 25 years at Adams Construction Company before retiring in 1990. Avalanche baseball games and hockey games just won't be the same without our daddy.
