Irene Ash, 91, of Dallas, Texas, formerly of Cassville, the daughter of John Washington and Martha Vanderpool Ash. She spent most of her life in Barry County. She worked many years as assistant manager in the Myron-Green Cafeteria in Topeka, Kansas. After retiring she moved to Dallas. She was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church near Cassville.
Survivors include one daughter, three sons, seven grandchildren and 12 great gradnchildren.
She was precided in death by seven sisters and three brothers.
Services will be 10 a.m. tomorrow, July 19, at Williamson Chapel in Cassville with Pastor Russell Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Horner Cemetery under the direction of Williamson Funeral Home of Cassville.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today, July 18, at the funeral home.
