Lyudmila Goncharova, 78, died April 16, 2016. Lyudmila was born in Kazakhstan on May 4, 1937, the daughter of Vladimir and Efronsinya Dmitriev. She came to the United States in 1997.
An avid prayer warrior, she was known for her constant thoughts and concern towards others. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mikhail, in 2006.
Lyudmila’s family has given the family of Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home the privilege of caring for her. A gathering of friends and family took place from 6 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, April 19, at First Baptist Church of Salvation, 1924 Marglyn Drive, Matthews, and from 10 am to 11 am on Wednesday, April 20, at the Lowe-Neddo Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Road, Matthews. Services were held at 11 am in the funeral home chapel before Lyudmila was taken to her final place of earthly rest at Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Charlotte.
