Kennedy; graduated from New York University; worked as a teacher, sales professional, statistician, mathematician, businessman; was a life-long student, bridge-player and fan of Broadway shows, Sunday brunch and the Atlantic beaches, particularly Bethany Beach, Delaware, where he maintained a home.
He received a life-saving heart transplant in 1987, and was a vocal advocate for organ transplant donation.
