Abstract

Petition of Jonathan Berger, Jacob Berger and George Berger, administrators of Andrew Berger, who died intestate on the ___ of June 1827 leaving a wife named Magdalena and nine children [only eight listed here] Jacob, George, Jonathan, Catherine intermarried with John Kessler, the children of Mary (now deceased) intermarried with Valentine Laudenslager, Molly intermarried with Henry DeLong, Sarah (single) and Susan married with Peter Wagner, all above the age of 21 years. [One child is not listed here --- another daughter??] Deceased left land in Derry Township, Columbia County 1/4 miles from the town of Washington containing 128 acres on which is erected a new two story frame house, a new frame barn and a stone spring house. The estate is insufficient to pay debts and the administrators petition the court to sell the estate.
