PIONEER RESIDENT DIES
MRS. CHARLOTTE CHURCH OF LAWTON SUCCUMBS
Mrs. Charlotte Church, 92, died suddenly of a heart attack at 7:30 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George Merrick in Lawton.
Mrs. Church was born April 27, 1852, in Covington, Kentucky. She moved to Indiana and was married to Andrew Church on October 5, 1868. Mr. and Mrs. Church moved to Cherokee county in 1879. He died here November 23, 1925.
Survivors in addition to the daughter are two sons, William Church of Carl Junction and Raymond Church of Joplin, eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the home in Lawton, conducted by Rev. O.C. Johnson. Burial was in the old Pleasant View cemetery in charge of the Ruhland Undertaking Co.

Charlotta Burg Church's mother is Magdalena Aubart Burg and she was born 1822 in Germany. Her date of death is unknown and it it not known if she is buried next to Friedrich Wilheim Burg or not. Also there is a infant child buried in the same cemetery that has Friedrich's full name. This must be a son of Friedrich and Magdalena. This would suggest also that she is buried there.
