SISTER-IN-LAW OF JOHN CHURCH
DIES AT CARL JUNCTION
Mrs. Carrie Church, 62, wife of Will Church died at her home in Carl Junction, Missouri, at 3:40 o'clock Monday morning. She has been in ill health for the past two years and had been seriously ill since last October with heart disease.
Carrie Rawlings was born near Lawton, Kansas, in 1877, the daughter of the late James M. and Victoria Rawlings. She was married to William M. Church on August 13, 1899. She had lived in the Lawton and Carl Junction community most of her life. She had been a member of the Methodist church since early girl hood.
Surviving are her husband, William Church; a son, Ernest Church of Carl Junction; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Marshall of Kansas City; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Suffron of Pittsburg and Dr. Mollie Scott of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a brother, J. M. M. Rawlings of Pittsburg and four grandchildren.
Mrs. Church was a sister-in-law of Constable John Church and a cousin of Misses Cora and Bertha Rawlings of Columbus.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Carl Junction, Missouri, with the Rev. Geo. M. Pierce officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant View cemetery in this county.
