ALICE E. HAGUE Died at her home in Castro Valley on December 6, 2001 from lung cancer. Born November 9, 1923 in Corwith, Iowa to Mr. &Mrs. Nick Kelch. She was one of 20 children. Moved to Oakland in 1943 and worked at Moore Dry Dock during the war. She met and married George H. Hague on April 9, 1945. She lived in Castro Valley for 57 years, retired from General Foods, volunteered with the Share program, loved gardening and traveling. Her favorite hobby was maintaining her family history and following the descendants of her 19 brothers and sisters. Alice is survived by her daughter Lennett Albarran and her husband Tony of Castro Valley. Sister of Cecilia Lee of Hayward, Margaret Anderson of Clarion, Iowa; John Kelch of Bloomington, IL and Charles Kelch of Marshalltown, Iowa. She will be deeply missed. Visitation will be held at Jess C. Spencer Mortuary, 21228 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley on Sunday, December 9, 2001 from 1 - 5 PM with a Vigil Service at 2:30 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, December 10, 2001 at 10:30 AM at All Saints Church, 22824 Second St., Hayward with burial to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward.
