Lingering Illness Fatal to Midland Woman Who Died Early Yesterday Morning at Home
Mrs. Julia Bellinger,76, died yesterday morning at 3:30 at her home, 401 East Hines Street, from a heart attack. She had been in failing health for a month and was confined to her bed for two weeks. Funeral services will be held in the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock with Rev. V.V. Nichols officiating and burial in Home cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. David Ralling of Midland and Mrs. Thomas Nurnberger of St. Louis, a son Ear A. Bellinger of Oakes, North Dakota, and a sister, Miss Mary Locke of Cleveland. Mrs. Bellinger was born Julia Locke in Germany Oct. 25, 1850. She came to this country when 8 years of age, living then in Ohio. When 25 years of age she came to Midland county. On June 16, 1886, she married Alvyn I. Bellinger of Midland, who died 17 years ago. They settled on a farm in Home township moving to this city about 36 years ago.
