RUTH BELLINGER DIES AT SAGINAW
Young Lady Had Worked At Republican Office And Dow Plan Several Years
Miss Ruth Bellinger, 30 years old, passed away at the home of her sister Mrs. David Ralling at Saginaw yesterday after an illness of over a yearwith a heart affliction. She had worked at the Dow offices here until about a year ago when forced to leave on account of poor health. She went to Florida and had just returned to Saginaw a few days before the fatal attack. For several years Miss Bellinger was employed at the Republican office prior to 1920 when she accepted employment at the Dow offices. Here she remained until the fall of 1926. She had lived in Midland all of her life. Ruth May Bellinger was born Jan. 26, 1897 in Homer Twp., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Bellinger. She attended the township and city schools graduating from the Midland high school in the class of 1915. She was a member of the Rebekah lodge, Eastern Stars of Midland and Saginaw auxiliary to Canton. Those surviving her are; her mother, Mrs. A. L. Bellinger, one brother, Earl Bellinger, Oakes, N.D.; three sisters, Mrs. Thomas Nurnberger of Saline, Michigan; Mrs. David Railling of Saginaw; Mrs. Frank Winters of Orlando, Fla. The funeral was held at the Wilson funeral home at 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Rev. J.O.L. Spracklin of Methodist church officiated and burial took place in Homer cemetery. (Source: Midland Daily News)
