Coroner W. H. Brubaker said today there will be no inquest into the death of Walter J. Tracey, 19, of Sheridan, whose death occurred in the Lebanon Sanatorium yesterday. Tracey was burned by live steam at the Sheridan furnaces on Tuesday, according to the report, and Dr. Brubaker feels the circumstances were accidental. Tracey was a former resident of Marietta and the body was released to a Marietta undertaker. He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Hattie Tracey, and a daughter, Sarah Jane; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Tracey, of Marietta, and the following brothers and sisters: Leroy Tracey, Marietta; Charles Tracey, of Rangerville, Idaho; Robert Tracey, Marietta; Violet, wife of Earl Rapp, and Elizabeth and Priscilla Tracey, of Marietta. Other survivors are his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Carrie Tracey, of Woodbine, Pa., and his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Rosie Frane, of Marietta. [Lebanon Daily News, January 1, 1942, Page 1]
