Mrs. Cornelia Keys (Kees) was born on February 9, 1844 in Maryland, the daughter of Arnold Summers and Maria Barnes Summers. At the time of her death on Feb. 23, 1918 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was a widow. Her husband, Mr. Singleton Keys, a Veteran of the Civil War, died in 1883. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane Keys Simms. Burial at Half Way, MD on Feb. 26, 1918.
Mrs. Keys was attended by Dr. A.B. Wilson who also signed the Death Certificate. Mr. Thomas Sims, her son-in-law, provided information for the DC.
