The former Ruth M. Sebo was born on October 20, 1935 in town of Liberty, daughter of the late Alvin and Josephine (Reinke) Sebo. She was a graduate of Valders High School. On June 30, 1954, she married David A. Strouf at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kellnersville. He preceded her in death on October 24, 2002. Ruth worked for Tecumseh in New Holstein for 30 years retiring in 1998. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, especially at the trailer in Freemont. Ruth also enjoyed going on gambling trips.
Survivors include her three sons and two daughters-in-law: Dan (Christine) Strouf, St. Nazianz; Dean (Doreen) Strouf, Valders; Dale Strouf, Sheboygan Falls and his special friend: Rhonda Ostermann; nine grandchildren: Angela (Aaron) Bohnhoff; Jon Reinboldt; Daniel Strouf Jr.; Emmie Strouf; Chantyl Strouf; Camrynn Strouf, Donovan Strouf; Devan Strouf; Dana Strouf; three great grandchildren: Avery Bohnhoff; Aubree Strouf; McKennah Strouf; five brothers and six sisters-in-law and five sisters and three brothers-in-law: Betty (Fran) Orth, Manitowoc; Larry (Kim) Sebo, Kiel; JoAnn (Tony) Riesterer, Manitowoc; Shirley Burich, Valders; Tom (Chris) Sebo, Reedsville; Ron (Carolyn) Sebo, Manitowoc; Don (JoAnn) Sebo, Valders; Dorene (Gene) Schneider, Valders; Al Sebo, Valders; Linda Hoefner, Manitowoc; Arlene Strouf, Menchalville; Karen Strouf, New Holstein, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Alvin and Josephine Sebo; her husband: David A. Strouf; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Norman and Anna Strouf; three brothers-in-law: Leonard Burich; Denver Strouf; Richard Strouf.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum. Deacon Alan Boeldt will officiate with entombment to follow at the Knollwood Mausoleum.
