RITES HELD TUESDAY FOR FORMER MAYOR

Frank L. Kinsman, 78, former mayor of Ada, died suddenly last Saturday morning in a Pittsburgh hotel, following a heart attack. Masonic rites were held Tuesday at the residence, 124 East Montford avenue, Rev. W.A. Condon officiating. Burial was made in Woodlawn cemetery.

Mr. Kinsman, a native of New England, was born on April 6, 1861. When he was six months of age, his parents moved to Montpelier, Vt., where he received his education. At the age of 18 he went to Buffalo, N.Y., with the Erie railroad company.

In 1892 he married Jeanette Mae Barnard of Buffalo, and in 1919 they came to Ada where he was vice president of the Turnerised Roofing company for a number of years.

He was a member of the Masonic order and a supporter of the Presbyterian church. Taking an active interest in public affairs, he served as mayor of Ada for six years, 1924-1927 and 1930-1931.

Six years ago he became president of the General Roofing Paint company of Pittsburgh, and in 1935 he and Mrs. Kinsman established their residence in that city. They had moved back to their home here in May of this year.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a niece, Mrs. Florence Montgomery and a grandneice, Mrs. Jean Cook of New Jersey.
