Mrs Comma B. Phillips, 88, of 7619 Arlington, Raytown, died yesterday at a nursing home at 7200 Cleveland. She was born in Owensboro, Ky., and lived here 60 years. Mrs Phillips was a member of our Lady of Lourdes Catholic church and the Altar and Rosary society. Surviving are a son James A. Phillips, 546 Crescent, Independence; a daughter, Mrs. Mary L. Bott of the home; two brothers, John Vowels and Troy Vowels, both of Owensboro; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Sherman and Mrs. Myrtle Phillips, both of Atlanta, Ga.
