Mr. Abramovitz was born in Reading, Pa. He had retired as a manager from Crockin-Levy Furniture Co., and had retired from the Navy as a chief warrant officer after 30 years. He was the widower of Ethel M. Abramovitz.
Survivors include a son; a sister, a brother; and two grandchildren.
The graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Rosewood Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is handling arrangements.
