Coyne, Daniel J. Sr. (Lieutenant, RFD retired) Friday, October 20, 2006. He is survived by his loving wife, Carmela (Camelio) Coyne; children, Sharon Gillette, Daniel J. Jr. (Mazie) Coyne of CA, Eileen (John) Iati; grandchildren, Elizabeth Gillette-Clarke (Jeffrey), Rebecca Gillette-Woodruff, Christopher Coyne of CA; great-grandsons, Jesse and Joshua; brother, Robert Coyne; sisters, Monica (Ralph) Brower, June DeWelles; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Rose Camelio, Ann Camelio; many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Coyne was a retired lieutenant from the City of Rochester Fire Department, past president of IAFF Local 1071, and a veteran of WWII.

Friends may call SUNDAY from 2-6PM at the DiPonzio Funeral Home, Inc., 219 Spencerport Road, Gates. On Monday morning, October 23, friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at 10:00 in Sacred Heart Cathedral. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to School of the Holy Childhood, 100 Groton Pkwy 14623, in his memory.
