Paul was born on September 14, 1931 in Manitowoc, a son of the late Anton and Elizabeth Popp Reindl. On March 16, 1974 he was united in marriage to Margaret Dotz in Sheboygan. The couple was married for 35 years before Margaret preceded him in death in 2009.
Paul served his country in the U.S. Air Force from 1954-1958. He also served in the Army National Guard of WI from 1976 to 1977.
Mr. Reindl was employed by the Kohler Company for 21 years, retiring in 1994, and was a member of the UAW during his employment there. He was previously self employed as a dairy farmer and had worked part time for Enzo Pak for 3 years. He enjoyed gardening and playing cards with his family.
Paul was a member of the Evangelical Free Church and served as an usher for 4 years.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew (Nancy) Reindl, Plymouth, Mark Reindl, Sheboygan; three grandchildren, Ronald Radloff, Chad (Chris) Radloff, and Amy Kalmus; six great grandchildren, Emily, Katie, Ethan, Jacob, Elizabeth, and Alexis; one brother, Benjamin (Tokiko), Manitowoc,WI; one sister, Aurelia Bucholz, Kiel, WI; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Dotz, and James (Chris) Dotz,; three sisters-in-law, Jean Reindl, Lorraine Reindl, and Sandra Cleavengar; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 20, 2016 at the Chapel of Eternal Light of Green Lawn Memorial Park, 6706 Superior Ave. Chaplain Marianne Brandt will officiate. Relatives and friends are welcome at the chapel on Friday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Entombment will take place in the Gardens of Peace Mausoleum.
