Jerome was born September 17, 1923 near Cato in Manitowoc Co., the son of the late Anton and Elizabeth (Popp) Reindl.
On May 6, 1950 he married Gertrude Scharinger at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sheboygan Falls.
He enjoyed camping, hiking, gardening, and biking.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude; three daughters, Margaret "Peg" Strysick of Oostburg, Mary Ann (Jerry) Mondloch of Random Lake, and Joanne (Dan) Montemayor of Oostburg; one son, Donald (Donna) Reindl of McKenzie, TN; 16 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Kathy (David) Knack of Hingham; a sister, Aurelia Buchholz of Kiel; four brothers, Herbert Reindl, Roland (Jean) Reindl, and Benjamin (Tokyko) Reindl, all of Manitowoc, and Paul (Margaret) Reindl, of Plymouth; and two sisters-in-law, Lorraine Reindl of Valders, and Rosemary Reindl of Chilton.
Jerome was preceded in death by his son, Dan Reindl; a son-in-law, Mitch Strysick; four brothers, Arnold, Joseph, Clarence, and Reinhart Reindl; and his sister, Lorraine Lemberger.
Burial will take place at St. George Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Wilson.
