Mrs. Valerie E. Guilbeau, born Corine Barry, died at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Barry, in Sunset, on Wednesday, May 1, at 2 o'clock, aged 23 years, after a short illness.
Her remains were interred in the family vault, in Grand Coteau, on Thursday evening, May 2, after solemnization of the rites of the Catholic church.
Her brother, Arthur J. Barry, died in El Paso, Texas, only a few months ago, and this second visitation of the Destroyer in so short a space of time makes the bereavement doubly distressing.
The Clarion extends heartfelt sympathy to the sorrowing family.
