Elisabeth Gawollek was born in Silesia in what is now Poland. She lived through World War 2 and lived in Rünthe, North Rhine Westphalia. Elisabeth was my ex husbands 'Oma' Grandma. She was a loving, warm and generous woman who was very devoted to her family. Her husband passed away in 1986 of a heart attack.
