PLYMOUTH - Claire Torjak, 86, of Terryville, widow of George Torjak Jr., died Saturday, Oct. 21, 2006 at home. Mrs. Torjak was born in New Haven April 29, 1920 and was a daughter of the late Gerano and Carrie (Campochiaro) Tortora. A Terryville resident for the past 46 years, she was employed at O-Z/Gedney in Terryville for 20 years before retiring. Mrs. Torjak is survived by a son, George Torjak III of Terryville; a daughter, Barbara Barnett of Plymouth; two grandsons, Christopher Barnett and his wife, Marcy, of Plymouth and John "Jay" Barnett of Webster, Minn.; a great-granddaughter, Taylor Claire Barnett of Plymouth; and several nieces and neph-ews. She was predeceased by her 10 brothers and sisters. Private funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 11 a.m. at Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol.
