Lassie was a wonderful companion and a great friend. She was so smart and could run like the wind. I had her from Kindergarten to my second semester of college. She was almost 15 when she died and had gone blind. Lassie was half Collie and half German Shepherd.Lassie was a great pet to have, so smart and could almost read your mind. She could run like the wind and was a protector of her people. She went pretty much blind in her golden years and was hit by a car in front of her home. I had her from the time I was in Kindergarten and she died in the second semester of my college career freshman. Lassie was buried in the pet family graveyard.
