Jennifer Clanton, 58, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016. She was born November 25, 1957 in Channelview, TX to parents, Hubbard & Irma Lee Gardner.
After a valiant 4 year battle with cancer, Jennifer is finally at peace, and is no longer suffering. She will be remembered as a strong fighter; as well as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her mother, Irma Lee Gardner. She is survived by her father, Hubbard Gardner; husband, Robert Edward Clanton; daughter, Ashley Skrljac & husband Ed; grandchildren, Jack, and Henry Skrljac; siblings, Susan Chapman, and Dale Gardner.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2016, from 5-8 PM at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the following morning at 10 Am at Chapel wood United Methodist Church, 11140 Greenbay St., Houston, TX 77024. Interment will follow at 2:30 PM at Hix Cemetery in Caldwell, TX.
