The Rev. James R. Oborne of Decatur, associate minister of Chapel Hill Harvester Church, died Monday of cancer at his home. He was 44.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m.today at Chapel Hill Harvester Church with burial at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
The Rev. Oborne, a native of Akron, Ohio, was a graduate of Holmes Seminary. He was the academics dean at Earl Paulk In stitute.
Survivivng are his wife, Christine Pace Oborne; three sons, Todd Oborne, Brandon Oborne and Aaron Oborne of Decatur; a daughter, Tonya 0.Kilgore of Decatur; father, William Oborne of Akron, Ohio; and a brother. William Oborne of Huntsville, Ala.
