First transcription had LaRue spelled incorrectly. Birth date was not given on his stone. He was married to Frances Lyscum Petty, Bourbon Co., KS, May 06, 1860 and his second wife was her sister, Lecretia Taline Petty, and he married her September 07, 1871, in Bourbon Co., KS. Third he married Sarah Ann Ellen Victoria Woodard, about 1885, maybe in McDonald Co., MO. Don't have date or place, but family notes that report the marriage. His first two wives are buried in Bourbon Co., KS, and his third wife is buried at Sand Springs, OK. By Donna Cooper.

Jacob LaRue married my ancestor: Sarah Ann Ellen Victoria Woodard (1857-1968) on 31 July 1885 at Powell, Missouri. To this union were born 6 known children: William Warren (1886-1969), Lillie Mae (1889-Unknown), Omah (1891-1955), Gertrude (1893-1979), Stella Emily (1895-1917) and Josiah (1899-1986). With his other wives, he had 2 children with each., all were daughters. With Lucretia he had Martha and Arretta, and with Francis he had Sarah Francis and Josephine.

After Jacob passed, Sarah married William Sims (1861-1952) on 14 August 1920. No children from this union. William died in 1952. Sarah lived to be 111, passing in 1968.
