He was born on Aug. 22, 1925 to the late Clifford and Gertrude Hill in Alvin, Illinois. He was one of 12 children and the patriarch of the Hill Family.
Lee worked as a civil engineer and a painter at Chanute Air Force Base for 30 years until retirement. Lee additionally started Hill & Hill Painting with his wife, Annie Hill.
Annie and Lee were joined in marriage in April 1962. He was an extremely dedicated husband and father. Annie and Lee had a great deal of love and respect for one another.
Surviving are four children, Miriam "Faith" Hill, Lester West, Edward (Nina) West and David "Doc" West; two grandchildren and many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
