Edith Mae Lawson McGuire eldest daughter of James Harris Lawson and Josephine James Lawson. She attended Sunrise School and graduated from Kellyville High School, On July 25, 1935 was married to Clark (Short) Allen McGuire by Rev E L Barner, Pastor of Assembly of God Church of Kellyville.
From this union nine children were born, five sons and four daughters, all living at the time of her death.
She was a homemaker, an excellant cook that never used a recipe, did beautiful needlework and could cut out a dress without using a bought pattern....she was a very gifted person and could also cut out letters for book reports without drawing a line and each letter would be perfect.
She was very close to her Dad and Mom and they in turn were always eager to get a letter from her or to have her come for a visit.
