Leona Margareth Chapman, 98, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 19, 2000), Chenoa, McLean Co., Illinos.

Mrs. Chapman was born Februay 12, 1902, at Strawn, Livingston Co., Illinois, a daughter to Adam and Catherine Berlett Schade. She married Charles M. Chapman on October 19, 1927, at Strawn. He died May 17, 1956.

She is survived by two sons, Charles Dale (Patricia) Chapman and Merle F. (Margene) Chapman, two sisters, Arleen Brough and Ruth Matthews, five grandchildren, Douglas (Linda) Chapman, Dennis (Kathy) Chapman, Gregory (Julie) Chapman, Steven (Debra) Chapman and Susan (David) Robb, six great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Leslie Schade, Weldon Schade and Charles Schade, four sisters, Dorothy Haberkorn, Evelyn Askew, Catherine Foster and Alberta Gedde.

Mrs. Chapman was a homemaker, and served in the Alter and Rosary Society of her church.
