Mrs. Honor Marshall died at the residence of J. Smith, corner of Main and Pearl streets last Sunday morning, of consumption.

The lady arrived in Napa about two weeks ago with her husband and their 14-year-old son, from Mayville, New York.

Her husband was taken down with pneumonia on his arrival here, and died Monday morning, Nov. 29th. Immediately after Mr. Marshall's funeral the afflicted wife, whose strength, had been overtaxed during his sickness, was compelled to take to her bed, from which she was never again able to arise.

The funeral took place Tuesday afternoon from Masonic Hall and her remains were buried alongside those of her husband in Tulocay Cemetery.

Rev. John Coyle officiated, and the following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Wm Andrews, J.S. Howland, B.H. Gorton, H.H. Knapp, J.F. Lamdin and G.M. Francis.

The son who is thus left an orphan, will be cared for by the Masonic Order, of which his father was a member.
