They soon returned and settled at East Liverpool where her husband was listed on the 1840 census as the head of a household which then included four children.
Her obituary, which appeared in East Liverpool’s “Evening Review” newspaper of 23 Feb 1897 stated she had “lived in the house in which she died for almost 50 years, and the ground on which it stands was originally a part of the farm owned by her father, Matthew Riley.” Her funeral was held at her residence on Broadway and Fourth Street.
Scynthia's children with James Logan were Marianne "Mary Anne," Robert, Margaret Jane, Verlinda Ellen, Elizabeth, John C., and George W. Logan. Of these, George and Elizabeth were deceased before November 1858 and Marianne died in 1868.
James Logan died between May and August of 1844, and Scynthia next married Enoch Bradshaw at East Liverpool on 11 Dec 1845. By her second husband, she was known to have been the mother of Priscilla, Ambrose, Theodore R., Laura, Eugene B, Ida Olive and Lillie May Bradshaw.
