Funeral services for Margaret Agnew, 73, Laguana Woods, CA, will be held Friday, October 18, 2002, at 11:00 a.m. in the Eidfjord Lutheran Church, rural Walum, ND. Visitation will be one hour before services in the Church. Interment will be in the Eidfjord Lutheran Cemetery, rural Walum, ND. She died October 13, 2002, in California.
Margaret was born June 7, 1929, in Bartley Township, Griggs County, ND, the daughter of Carl and Anne (Sad) Heyerdahl. She grew up and attended school near Hannaford, ND, and graduated from Hannaford High School.
She taught school for several years in Helena and Broadview Townships in Griggs County. She married John Jordon. Margaret married Lee Agnew. She worked for Northwestern Bell for many years in Fargo and Bismarck, ND. After retirement she moved to Laguna Woods, CA to be near her daughter.
She is survived by a daughter, a brother, Charles Heyerdahl, Fargo, ND; two sisters, Eleanor Jordon, Fargo, ND; Dorothy (Alan) Lommen, Bismarck, ND; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephew.
