Mary M. Moriarty, 89, of Liverpool, passed away Friday. Born in Syracuse, she was a 1935 graduate of Vocational High School. She retired in 1980 after 24 years working for the NY Telephone Company. She was a parishoner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of the Salina Seniors. Mary is predeceased by her husband, John J. Moriarty, who died in 1986. Survivors include daughters, Peg (Joe) Rudy of Las Cruces, NM, Judy (Skip) Moreland of Baldwinsville; son, Jack Moriarty of Albany; sister, Sister Margaret Madden of Latham, NY; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Maurer Funeral Home, 300 Second St., Liverpool. Funeral services 9:30 a.m. Monday in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 425 Beechwood Ave., Liverpool, with entombment to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Dewitt. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 441 West Kirkpatrick St., Syracuse, NY 13204.
