HORICON—Charles G. Schrap, 85, of W4977 Highway S, Horicon, died on Sunday, April 27, 2003, at Clearview Nursing Home, Juneau.

The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 3, at 2 p.m., at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Juneau. The Rev. Thomas Biedenbender will officiate. Burial will be in Juneau City Cemetery, Juneau.

Charles was born on Sept. 19, 1917, in the town of Oak Grove, the son of Roland and Minnette (Wagner) Schrap. He was married to Norma Zimmerman on June 25, 1939, in the town of Oak Grove.

Charles attended school in Juneau. He owned and operated Schrap’s Dairy. He was employed as a professional truck driver for various trucking companies and retired from farming in the town of Oak Grove. He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Juneau. He was a member of Starcraft Camping Association and a member of the Teamsters Union. He was a volunteer fireman for the city of Juneau.

Survivors include his wife, Norma, Juneau; two sons, Harold (Carol) Schrap, Grafton, and Thomas (Bev) Schrap, Whitefish Bay; one sister, June Krueger, Lakewood; one brother, Robert (Nancy) Schrap, Wauwatosa; four grandchildren, Brian (Karen) Schrap, Belgium, Pamela Schrap, Appleton, Dawn (Randal) Kohl, Milwaukee, and Todd Schrap, Cedarburg; seven great-grandchildren, Jacob, Rebecca, Samuel, Benjamin Schrap, Brianna Roesler, Katelyn and Tyler Kohl; nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one sister.

Friends may call on Saturday, May 3, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Juneau.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Juneau. The Koepsell Funeral Home, Mayville, is serving the family.
