Bernard Clark, age 91, of Betsy Layne, KY., husband of Peggy Jo Hays Clark, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born January 15, 1925 in Amba, KY., a son of the late Rutherford B. and Nora Annice Clark. He was a member of the Betsy Layne Church of Christ, a WWII US Navy Veteran and a TV Technician.
In addition to his wife, Peggy, he is survived by one son; Gregory Bee (Berniece) Clark, Betsy Layne, KY., two daughters; Lynn Barri Clark (the late Stan) Justice, Betsy Layne and Teresa Jo Clark (George) Frazier, Betsy Layne, one sister; Roma Lou McClanahan, Lexington, KY., six grandchildren; Jason Edward(Judy) Justice, Dr. Misty Dawn (Jeremy) Clark-Sexton DMD., George Wesley (Crystal) Frazier, Joshua Derek Justice, Jessica Jo Clark (Clyde Jason) Boyd and Kimberly Lynn Clark (Shane) McKinney, eleven great grandchildren; Keira Brayden Clark, Santana Paige Stumbo, Paul Clark Wesley Frazier, Landon Eli Ward Frazier, Ava Montana Boyd, Shelby London Justice, Amari Skyy Anderson, Hannah Grace Sexton, Haylyn Jayce Boyd, Hayden Clyde Gregory Boyd and Ally Shayne McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and six brothers; Orville, Cecil, Carmel, Vernon, Edford and R.B. Clark Jr. and one sister; Lora Jean Stratton.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Harper and Doug Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Osborne Cemetery, Eastern, KY., visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to the Floyd Co. animal shelter and Hospice of the Bluegrass.
