Memorial services for Sarah M. "Sally" Bracelin of McMinnville will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 7, in the chapel of Macy & Son Funeral Directors. The Rev. Alan Hurty will officiate.
Mrs. Bracelin died in the Life Care Center of McMinnville on Friday, June 30, 2006. She was 86.
Born in Mendon, Mass., on June 19, 1920, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Blount) Mulcahy.
She grew up in Woonsocket, R.I. After graduating from high school, she launched a modeling career in New York.
After marrying John Blunt in 1938, she moved to California. He died in 1959.
She then married Capt. Harry Drew. She moved in with him in 1961.
After he died in 1986, she married Rex Bracelin in September 1988. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Carlton.
Her family said, "Her life revolved around her family, her grandchildren, and her Christian faith."
Survivors' names were omitted per the findgarve policy.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, John, James, and Joseph Mulcahy, and two sisters, Catherine San Soucci and Ethel Cote.
Visitation will run from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, July 5 and 6, at the chapel. Interment will be conducted in McBride Cemetery in Carlton.
