Mrs. Minnie H. Dubbelde, 88, of Prairietown died at 7:40 a.m. Thursday in the Staunton Health Care Center. She had been in ill health the last year.
She was born Jan. 26, 1888, near Prairietown, a daughter of the late Fred and Louise Ruenhull Dustmann. She was married to Henry Dubbelde on April 23, 1911, in Prairietown. Her husband died on March 7, 1965.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence Dubbelde of Stanford, daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Louise) Schaefer of Prairietown and Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Rideout of St. Louis, nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, brothers, Arthur Dustmann of Prairietown and Clarence Dustmann of Staunton, and a sister, Mrs. Paul (Louise) Henke of Prairietown.
One son, one granddaughter, one sister and three brothers preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dubbelde was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Prairietown and the Ladies Aid Society of the church.
Friends may call between 8 and 9 p.m. Saturday at the Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton and between 12 noon and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Prairietown.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Prairietown, with the Rev. Lawrence E. Meinzen officiating.
Burial will be in Prairietown Cemetery.
