Eulalio P Montano was married to Maria del Refugio or "Refujita" Castillo. They were married in San Mateo, NM on 17 Aug 1910. They had three children of the own; Mary, Alfejo, and Bessie or "Chenta". They raised Max Montano(son of his brother Celso Montano) and Several of Chenta's children after she died in child birth.Eulalio's parents are Alfejo and Antonia Perea Montano. His siblings are David Perea, Antonio Jose, Fancisco, Jose de la Cruz, Celso, Trinidad, Merenciana, Lauteria, Lavrita, Flora and Sofia Montano.

When Refugio died in California, Eulalio purchased a plot and headstone for both of them. He returned to Gallup, NM. He passed away in Gallup, NM. His grandchildren purchased a headstone and burial plot at Hillcrest Cemetery in Gallup, NM. That is where he is buried
