Esther M. Krejcarek, age 85, of 537 Church St., Mishicot, entered into eternal
rest on Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Aurora Medical Center, in Two Rivers,
surrounded by her loving family.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at
Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, with the Reverend Paul Paider officiating,
with burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
Esther was born June 1, 1919 in the town of Little River, Oconto County to the
late James and Rose Robinson Novak, and has been a lifelong area resident. She
attended the LaSalle Elementary School in the town of Mishicot. Esther married
Edward Krejcarek, on November 30, 1938 in Manitowoc, and the couple celebrated
66 years of marriage this past November. She was formerly employed by the
Sheboygan Produce Company for 10 years, and later for Paragon Electric for 13
years. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot, and the Altar
Society of the church. She enjoyed flower gardening, and traveling to Las Vegas
visiting the various casinos. She especially enjoyed acknowledging her family and
many friends with cards on their special occasions. She also enjoyed dining out
with her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband Edward, two sons and daughters-
in-law: Gerald and Betty Lou Krejcarek, of Two Rivers, Robert and Lynda Krejcarek,
of Ladysmith; one daughter-in-law: Margaret "Peggy" Krejcarek, of Mishicot, and
her special friend Allen Kopetski, of Two Rivers; and by 11 grandchildren: Wayne
and (Theresa) Krejcarek, Barbara and (Gary) Augustenborg, Donald Krejcarek,
Victoria and (Dan) Haight, Colleen and (Jim) Skwor, Heather and (Todd) Phillips,
Brian and (Lisa) Beebe, Penny and (Bill) Tomchek, Paul and (Julie) Krejcarek,
Suzanne and (Mark) Haese, Michael and (Nicole) Krejcarek, and 18 great-grand-
children. She is further survived by one brother: John Novak, of Manitowoc; and
one sister: Julia Flentje, of Two Rivers; four sisters-in-law: Grace Novak,
Bernice Novak, Viola (Gardy) Popelar, and Berenece Krejcarek, all of Manitowoc;
nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by
one son: Kenneth Krejcarek, on June 28, 1995, a great-grandchild: Kiara Nichole
Haese, six brothers, four sisters, and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Relatives and friends may call after 9 a.m. on Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic
Church in Mishicot, until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be a 10:30
a.m. Altar Society Rosary recited Tuesday morning at the church. There will be
no Monday evening visitation.
The Krejcarek family wishes to express a very special thank you to the entire
staff of St. MaryÆs Home of Manitowoc, and the 3rd floor ICU of the Aurora Medical
Center of Two Rivers, for their love, special care, and concerns shown to Esther,
and our family during Esther's illness.
The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the Krejcarek family
with funeral arrangements.
