ALVIN NOVAK

Alvin Novak, 53, of Rt. 1, Mishicot, died early Sunday morning at
Holy Family Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lambert Funeral
Home, Mishicot, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church,
Mishicot, the Rev. Anthony Betley officiating. Burial will be in
the parish cemetery.
Mr. Novak was born Dec. 3, 1915, at Oconto, a son of the late James
and Rose Robinson Novak. The family brought him to a farm at Rt. 1,
Mishicot, as a boy where he attended the LaSalle Graded School.
He married the former Bernice Kortens at St. Anne Catholic Church,
Nov. 8, 1939. He was a co-owner of the former Mishicot Concrete
Products and for the past 15 years, had been employed by Manitowoc
Shipbuilding, Inc.
Besides his wife, he leaves three daughters, (private); three sons,
(private); five sisters, Mrs. Henry Hoffman of Kaukauna, Mrs. Ervin
Wilda of Manitowoc, Mrs. Orville Flentjo, and Mrs. Edward Krejcarek
of Mishicot, and Mrs. Anton Krystofick of Lena; five brothers,
Joseph of Rosecrans, John and Anton of Manitowoc, Chester of Francis
Creek and Edward of Mishicot; and four grandchildren. A daughter,
sister and brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday where the
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
