Mr. Paul Beck, 89 of Thomasville, passed away June 8, 2016 at Hospice of High Point. Paul was born November 5, 1926 to the late Coy Beck and Hattie Ensley Beck in Davidson County. Paul worked many years with Thomasville Furniture Industries, which he retired, and he also enjoyed farming. Paul was a member of Hasty Baptist Church. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Annie Pauline Beck, which passed away January 26, 2009, and three sisters, Zula Mae Beck, Clarrece Griffin, Iola Harris; two brothers, Woodrow Beck, and Grover Beck. Surviving is one daughter, Phyllis Smith and husband Gary of Thomasville, one son; Terry Wayne Beck and wife Teresa of Thomasville; three grandchildren, David Anderson, Jr., Tara Carter, Amanda Strickland; Ten great-grandchildren, Anthony Anderson, Damain Anderson, Megan Anderson, Tyler Anderson, Brandon Carter, Caleb Carter, Monica Strickland, Katherine Strickland, Nathan Strickland and Coy Strickland; three great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday June 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Ronnie Beane officiating. The family will greet friends at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Friday June 10, 2016 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
