Died - Mr. Carel Wilson died on the 25th instant at his home near Easley, in the Croswell secion. He was born in this county on Nov. 22nd 1842, being 70 years old at his death. He served four years in the Confederate army, having enlisted in Company A, 16th SC Regiment. He was married to Miss Amanda Miller in 1872. Mrs. Wilson with four children, as follows, survive. Messrs. Hovey, O.W., and Miss Kate Wilson and Mrs. Maude Godfrey. Interment was in George's Creek cemetery. (Easley Progress)
