Services for Mrs. Ethel Brown, 78, of Sylvia, Tennessee, were held Saturday afternoon, August 10, 1974, at 4 o'clock in the chapel of Dickson Funeral Home, conducted by Harold Coke, with burial in the Brown Cemetery
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, August 8th in Goodlark Hospital. She was a native of Dickson County, daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Weaver Brown. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Her husband Mr. Robert Ervin Brown died in 1967.
Survivors include two daughter; Mrs. John Bailey of Nashville and Miss Nannie Lee Brow of Dickson; one son, Ernest Brown of Dickson, Route No. 3; three sisters; Mrs. Doyle Vineyard of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Zellie Daniel of Dunlap, Tennessee and Mrs. Lurt Rye of Altha, Florida; one brother Willie Hagood of Loma-Linda, California; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
