She is mentioned as Mrs. Mary Holden in the April 9, 1899 St. Louis Dispatch returning from Europe after two years where her daughter, Mabel Chauvenet Holden studied music. She is mentioned in the will of her mother dated January 27, 1907. On January 27, 1921, she gives her address as 103 East 75th Street in New York City in an affidavit for the passport of her daughter, Mabel Tuttle.
