Lola was the daughter of: James Henry Owen and Sarah Ellen Skinner Owen.

She was born and raised on her Father's farm south-west of Sheldon, Vernon County, Missouri.

She was a Sister to: Jesse A., William Francis, Clarence Elmer, Maude Lee Owen Smith and Roy B. Owen.

She was married to Charles Edmond Raper on September 8, 1909 in Lamar, Barton County, Missouri.

She was the Mother of Edmond True and Clyde L. Raper.

She passed away in her home at 711 James Street, Modesto, California. She was 39 years of age.

She leaves to mourn her, her husband, C.E. Raper, and her two sons, Edmond T. and Clyde L. Raper, all of Modesto, one Sister, Mrs. Maude Smith of Fresno, and two Brothers, Jesse A. and Clarence Elmer Owen of Missouri. Many friends attended the funeral service, Lola was very well liked by all who knew her.
