Alice was the Daughter of Walter and Catherine VanIperan Fennema.
She was born in Otley, Marion County, Iowa.
She was married to Charles Edmond Raper on July 14, 1928 in Modesto, Stanislaus County, California.
When Charles' first wife Lola died in 1925 she left behind two sons. Alice raised these boys they were Edmond True and Clyde L. Raper as they were her own and they loved her very much.
She moved to Modesto in 1928. She was a homemaker. A volunteer at Faith Home Teen Ranch and a member of the First Baptist Church.
She passed away in a local convalescent hospital after a long illness, she was 96 years of age.
