She was born November 10, 1930 in Madison County , and resided most of her life in Markleville.
Greta graduated from Markleville High School in 1948.
She was retired from the Madison County Treasurers Office after 30 years of employment.
She was a member of Kappa Delta Phi, where she was the founding member of the Psi Phi chapter of Markleville.
Greta is survived by her husband, Raymond Breese, of Markleville, son Terry Breese of New Albany, daughter Shelley (Todd) Hare, of Anderson, grandchildren, Jennifer Breese, of Maryville, TN, Stephanie Patterson, of Knoxville, TN, Jordyn Hare of Anderson, and 4 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Ginger Cloe, and a brother, Gordon Stohler and a sister, Gretchen Hanna.
