Tomazine M. (Rulo) Carlton, age 90 of Carrollton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Life Care Center of Carrollton, Missouri.
Tomazine was the daughter of Thomas Lee and Inez Alta (Borders) Cunningham, born on December 23, 1925 in Malden, Missouri. She attended Jericho School in Malden, Missouri. Tomazine was married to Robert Lee Chilton and they later divorced. She was married to Anthony Rulo and William Carlton who both preceded her in death.
Tomazine worked for ConAgra in Marshall, Missouri and the Brunswick Nursing Home in Brunswick, Missouri. She had many interests including fishing, vegetable gardening, crocheting, and raising chickens. Tomazine thoroughly enjoyed growing African violets. She attended many flower show competitions and won numerous awards. Tomazine was a member of The Exciting Assembly of God Church in Carrollton, Missouri. She loved God, attending church and her church family. Tomazine adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Tomazine is survived by her children: Sue Acton, of Carrollton, Missouri, Barbara Martindale, of Michigan, Kenneth Rulo and wife Karen, of Bosworth, Missouri, Jerry Rulo and wife Juanita, of Carrollton, Missouri; one sister, Dorothy Helen Boyd, of Springdale, Arkansas; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Tomazine was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Ronald Chilton; one daughter, Patricia Leighty; and three sisters, Aileen Snider, Jessie Lee Kester, and Doris June in infancy.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home, 1201 North US 65 Highway, Carrollton, Missouri.
Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 a.m. at Bittiker Funeral Home, with Reverend Ray Todd officiating.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, DeWitt, Missouri.
