Following a week's illness of pneumonia, Mrs. Lucy Bennett died at 9:10
o'clock Sunday evening at her home on Gardendale Avenue. She was born in
Warren County, PA. July 18, 1834 and at the age of eighteen was united in
marriage with Moses Bennett at Quebec, Canada. She has recided in in this
city for the past thirty-five years and during her residence here has made
a wide circle of friends who will deeply mourn her loss.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Bennett is survivied by the following sons and
daughters: John and Elmer Bennett of Sebring. Charles Bennett and Mrs.
George Bowers of Beaver Falls, Mrs. Walter Andrews and Mrs. Henry Stone
of this city and Frank Bennett of Hookstown.
Funeral services over the remains will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday
afternoon from the home at 1003 Clair avenue.

Mrs. L. Bennett Succumbs With Husband -- Daughter and Brother Ill.
WAS OLD RESIDENT
With three other members of the family, all seriously ill suffering from pneumonia, Mrs. Lucy Bennett, died from the same disease at her home on Gardendale avenue, at 9:10 o'clock last evening, following a week's illness.
Her husband, Moses Bennett and her daughter, Mrs. Walter Andrews, are ill in the same house. Moses Debee, a brother who nursed them is ill at his own home on the same street.
Mrs. Bennett, who has resided in this city for the past thirty-five years was born in Warren county, Pa., July 28, 1934. At the age of eighten she was united in marriage with Moses Bennett at Quebec, Canada. Later she removed with her husband to Tidiuto. Pa. and then to this city. During her long residence here she had surrounded heself with a host of friends who will greatly mourn her departure from their midst.
Besides her husband Mrs. Bennett is survived by the followingg sons and daughters; John and Elmer Bennett, of Sebring; Charles Bennett and Mrs. George Bowers, of Beaver Falls, Mrs. Walter Andrews and Mrs. Henry Stone of this city, and Frank Bennett of Hookstown.
